2 weeks ’til Providence Half Marathon!

Got up bright and early this morning to run my last long training run (12.25 miles) before race day. One more week of full-on training and then it’s taper time….must say I’m ready to run this race and give my body a little down time! I have a goal in mind but am trying not to get too caught up with the time since that just stresses the bejeebies out of me. So, we will see.


Had some snacks (and lots of H2O) throughout the day but Hubs prepared an awesome dinner of steamers, ww pasta, and a beet/gorgonzola/walnut salad. YUM!!!!


Topped the day off with some chocolate peanut butter cup ice cream. Real ice cream.  a rarity, but oh.  so.  good. 

Those long runs make my eyes very heavy!  Later!
